2019 - Recap
In 2019, Drone Focus Conference was incredibly impactful in the UAS industry. We downscaled to a one-day event to consolidate our efforts and focus on an excellent attendee experience. We had just over 300 attendees, with 37 presenters, and 50 companies represented.
Highlights from the event include a presentation from David Short, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Transportation for Aviation and International Affairs, as well as representation from United States Senator for North Dakota, John Hoeven. We also heard from several tech entrepreneurs in the UAS field, such as Nick Flom, Executive Director of the Northern Plains Test Site and Josh Riedy, Founder of Airtonomy.
Attendees also enjoyed socializing at the Drone Focus Fest the afternoon before, which featured live music, catered food, and outdoor games.
